I am drawn to an immediate honesty, tactility, and transparency in the expression and construction of objects. My work unfolds through a close relationship with materials and an intuitive process that arises from the nature of the materials.
It's important to me that the cohesion between color, tactility, and material gives rise to objects that one relates to physically.
Through a visibly handmade and gradual crafting process, the objects ultimately stand as a representation of a perspective on our everyday life; through the slow work of the hand and the tactility it invokes, presence and mindfulness in our being are promoted.
